Can you believe it is the end of week three and time for our first closed weekend? It has been a busy and productive start to school. Taylor Hall has chosen a theme of “Racing for Fun” as their incentive to do well. Every day the boys earn the opportunity to have their “car” move down the “racetrack”. Rewards include “Hot Wheels” cars and a special trip. Pictured below are some of the Taylor Hall students who have caught “Race Fever” and want to do their very best at ASD.

The Career Tech Department will be busy during the month of September. To start things off, our outstanding driver education teacher, Bert Haynes, was chosen as Sorenson's Teacher of the Year. Representatives from Sorenson will be on campus September 5, 2013 to video Mr. Haynes and his driver education program. We are very proud of him!!!! Homecoming Week is September 9-14 with many activities planned; dress up days, bonfire, dance, and game against the Indiana School for the Deaf. During that week is school picture day - Tuesday, September 10th.
