November has been filled with activities and opportunities! All dorms enjoyed the open-captioned “Ghostbusters” movie at the Ritz. Henderson Hall had a delicious meal at Hwy. 55, a 50’s diner. We watched our young ladies in the “ASD Ambassador Pageant”. We started another season of basketball with an official’s scrimmage. All dorms attended via a fan bus for the first away game at GSD. “Feel the Thunder” was awesome this year with a toy for each student and over a hundred motorcyclists. Henderson Hall hosted a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving dinner with parents and special guests. Graves Hall West took their turn at Hwy. 55 and hopes to go again soon. Preuitt Hall held a slumber party, complete with PJs and pizza. In between, there were basketball games, homework, exams and “Dorm Night” programs. There is always something good to do and learn from at ASD!
