Just one more week to go in this school year! The activity level is at an all-time high. Sunday, students enjoyed services at Faith Mission for the Deaf with a potluck meal. McDonald and Henderson Halls travelled to Birmingham that afternoon for the open-captioned movie “Captain America”. Monday was the annual senior dinner at “Top of the River” in Anniston. On Tuesday, Graves Hall West, Henderson Hall, McDonald Hall and Taylor Hall enjoyed a delicious meal with the money they raised from their car washes. Burgers and dogs were made by former dorm staff, Jermaine Dates. The ice cream cake and pound cake with strawberries were perfect! Wednesday, we honored our retirees: Sherry Deuel, Frances Hutchinson, Gwendolyn Ligons and Barbara Upton. You will be missed, but will always be “ASD Family”. Thursday was our annual athletic banquet. Friday was senior brunch and Last Will and Testament. It has been a great year and we look forward to celebrating our seniors at graduation next Thursday!
